The following issues are available for download and/or viewing:
- Volume 1 Issue 1: Introduces the magazine with two
contributing writers. One writes a horror story, while the other
offers a philisophical piece. Xubuntu 6.10 is reviewed in this
issue as well. An article that begins a multi-part
investigational series pertaining to the Guerilla News Network (GNN) is
written detailing how they are not the first alternative media entity
to be scrutinized. Finally, I chronicle the shady past of
Microsoft.
I sincerely hope you enjoy all the issues of THE *NIXED REPORT
magazine. I will soon be setting up a store in which users can
subscribe and help support us that way. However, make no mistake:
you are free to make copies of this magazine and pass it around to
others. Help spread the word.
Why buy the magazine?
I'll soon set it up to where you can buy CD-ROM issues of THE *NIXED REPORT. On those CD's, will be the following:
- The magazine itself in HTML and PDF (for easy printing... will have full page ads).
- Several episodes of my radio program broadcasted on TruthNet Radio in OGG Vorbis format.
- OGG Vorbis filter for Windows users (no, I won't leave you guys in the dark).
- Free and Open Source Software for Windows users, so they have a taste of what freedom is.
- Music from independent artists in OGG Vorbis format!
That's right! If you are an alternative music artist/band,
this is your chance to be promoted! Don't be turned into a whore
by the RIAA! Let us the people promote you instead (and try OGG
Vorbis for distributing your music instead of MP3 as there are no
royalty fees applied for files encoded with OGG Vorbis).
- Distributions of Linux*: If there's enough room on
the CD, a CD-ROM image (likely a .iso file) will be included. For
now, it's safe to say that mini-distros will be likely candidates.

*Some groups prefer to use the terminology GNU/Linux, because these systems contain a great deal of software from the GNU Project,
and they run on top of the kernel known as Linux. The author of
this website prefers to call these alternative systems Linux for
reasons of his own, but also understands that were it not for the GNU
Project, an alternative to Microsoft Windows would not be possible
today. Whenever someone calls it Linux, they will be quoted as
such. Whenever someone else calls it GNU/Linux, they will also be
quoted properly.
