KSHB in Kansas City reported on the decision to dismiss the charges against Abid due to the lack of hard evidence. Examiner.net, a publication covering news in Independence, Blue Springs, and Grain Valley, also references the breaking news. The Blaze, a Glenn Beck website, also has some far out comments in regards to the decision in question, an indication of how emotions have inhibited critical thought. Mitchell found some of the comments to be of poor taste.
Finally, there's the article from Bill Draper that revealed that Singletary was employed at one of Whitworth's bars until a week before he pulled the trigger.
